Legacy Environmental Services, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Carl and Lorrie Lisek to fill a void in the environmental industry. After observing multiple environmental "clean ups" the organization's founders made a commitment to use their 20 plus years of green experience to help companies create policies and practices that would lead to "greener" ways of doing business; ultimately helping to alleviate the clean up process.

Founder Lorrie Lisek said, "Our inspiration each day is the belief that we are making a difference. We educate our clients on sustainable practices and help them find funding to implement programs."

Often the funding obtained is for projects that the client intended to implement regardless. In some cases this allows previously allocated funds to be used in other areas. This not only helps contribute to the client's "bottom line," but also provides incentive for them to implement additional sustainable business practices.
